🌸 Retreat Overview

Our 7-day retreat is designed for those who seek a deeper and more complete healing experience. Through four Ayahuasca ceremonies, guided integration circles, and supporting practices such as meditation, yoga, and sound healing, participants gain clarity and reconnect with their true essence.

Each ceremony is conducted in sacred space, honoring the traditions of the Shipibo lineage — known for its ancient wisdom and powerful healing songs (icaros). In between ceremonies, you’ll have time to rest, reflect, and connect with nature in the serene environment of Byron Bay’s hinterland.

This retreat is not only about drinking Ayahuasca; it’s a week of self-purification, energetic alignment, and spiritual transformation.

🌞 7-Day Retreat Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival & Orientation

Arrive at Azabu Retreat from 1:00 PM. After settling in, you’ll meet the facilitators and shamans for a group introduction and intention-setting session. A gentle dinner follows before the first Ayahuasca ceremony, marking the beginning of your inner journey.

Day 2 – Cleansing & Opening

The morning begins with herbal tea and a meditation session. After breakfast, participants gather for the first integration circle to share reflections and insights. The rest of the day is for rest, journaling, or optional energy cleanses.

Day 3 – Deep Healing

You’ll start the day with yoga and grounding practices. The second Ayahuasca ceremony takes place at night, offering a deeper level of emotional release and connection with your inner wisdom.

Day 4 – Integration & Relaxation

This day focuses on reflection and restoration. Through breathwork, sound healing, and optional bodywork, you’ll allow the medicine’s teachings to settle within your being.

Day 5 – Transformation

After meditation and a light meal, the third Ayahuasca ceremony unfolds in the evening. This night often brings profound visions, forgiveness, and spiritual breakthroughs.

Day 6 – Renewal & Gratitude

Morning yoga and an integration circle create space for grounding. As night falls, the final Ayahuasca ceremony begins — the culmination of your healing process, where peace, understanding, and gratitude merge.

Day 7 – Closing & Departure

We close the retreat with a morning meditation and blessing ceremony led by the shamans. Participants enjoy a nourishing brunch and final sharing circle before departure around midday. Airport transport is provided for guests leaving Byron Bay.

🌿 The Ayahuasca Experience

Ayahuasca is a sacred medicine that connects you to the essence of who you are. Through this journey, you’ll face emotional patterns, heal old wounds, and expand your consciousness.

Our Shipibo shamans prepare authentic Ayahuasca sourced directly from the Peruvian Amazon. Their healing songs (icaros) guide the spirit of the medicine, clearing energetic blockages and opening pathways for light and clarity.

Each ceremony is conducted with utmost respect, safety, and support — ensuring your experience is both transformative and protected.
